We are seeking two part-time per diem school nurses who will join a team of two nursing professionals working up to 30 hours a week. Position reports to the Director of Nursing Services. The school nurse works collaboratively to respond to the immediate health needs of individual students, maintains the overall health and safety of the Episcopal Academy community, and promotes a culture of student wellness. The ideal candidate will possess both strong clinical skills and sound judgment. We are looking for a qualified candidate to help out with day-to-day operations of a school's nursing office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with daily COVID-19 screenings.
Provide care to students who seek assistance with health and wellness concerns.
Treat minor accidents and health emergencies.
Contact emergency services and parents when necessary.
Follow HIPAA guideline to protect student medical information
Perform first aid and CPR if needed.
Evaluate the student's total health and development status through comprehensive health assessments and provide follow up if needed.
Dispense, monitor, and record all students' medications for acute and chronic health problems.
Perform treatment procedures in accordance with physician and/or licensed health care provider's instructions.
Complete accident reports of injuries.

Pennsylvania licensed RN/Current CPR and First Aid certified
Experience in school health is preferred but not necessary
One year of nursing experience required
Possess the ability to work with school aged children in lower, middle and upper school settings
