CFS is seeking a mature, energetic, and organized individual to lead our track and field program for the winter and spring seasons of the 2020-2021 school year. We are looking for a positive team player with demonstrated prior experience working with and mentoring young people; a person who is committed to a leadership role within the CFS community. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics.
Track and Field coaching experience and excellence at the high school and/or college levels
Demonstrated experience successfully leading groups of young people
Willingness and flexibility to work a variety of days and hours across the season and off-season sessions, including nights and weekends
Current driver’s license and willingness to drive nine-passenger vans
Effective written and verbal communications skills
The Varsity Track and Field Head Coach Must:
Plan, organize, and direct the CFS Track and Field program
Demonstrate a willingness to support the school’s mission, entire program and core values (respect, responsibility, integrity and brotherhood) through personal example, actions and attitude
Assure program compliance with the CFS student/parent handbook, policies of the Bicentennial Athletic League, and rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA)
Cultivate and consistently maintain positive relationships with students, families and members of the CFS community
Support the CFS athletic program by overseeing all coaches and athletes in the winter and spring seasons of CFS Track and Field
Promote self-discipline and responsible decision-making among the students
In accordance with PA Department of Human Services guidelines, all prospective employees must be able to provide the following documents upon employment at Church Farm School. If prospective employee does not have the necessary documents, prospective employee will be required to obtain the necessary documents to move ahead with employment. Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed by Church Farm School.
