Westtown School is seeking a full-time English Teacher for the 2021-22 school year. As Westtown strives to fulfill our commitment to be an anti-bias, anti-racist (ABAR) school, we are seeking culturally competent educators with a demonstrated commitment to and ongoing professional development in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice (DEISJ) which is evidenced in their personal and professional interactions, curriculum, and pedagogy. Building on this foundation, the Upper School English position will involve teaching four classes each semester and participating fully in the residential and co-curricular life of the school. Preference will be given to qualified applicants with additional experience teaching ESOL and/or differentiated learners and those with experience in distance and hybrid learning.
