The Advancement Associate at Moravian Academy is primarily responsible for office-wide data management, event coordination, and support of communications inside the office and between the Advancement Department and the rest of the school.
One of the oldest independent schools in the country, Moravian Academy traces its origins to 1742. The early Moravians who founded our school were guided by the wisdom of John Amos Comenius, known as the father of modern education. He envisioned an education in which all would participate, and an education that would allow each individual to develop fully in mind, body, and spirit in an atmosphere of love and understanding.
Moravian Academy is still today a school in motion. After a recent merger with The Swain School, Moravian Academy comprises 900 students, 200 employees, a $22 million budget and a $25 million endowment. The extensive facilities are located on three campuses: historic buildings in lovely Downtown Bethlehem, 120 acres of green expanse of the Upper School’s Merle Smith campus in Bethlehem Township, and the 20 acre Swain School campus in suburban Allentown. Together, the three campuses form one school that is the premier choice for independent education in the entire Lehigh Valley region.

Since 1742, our tradition has encouraged sound innovations to meet the contemporary challenges while recognizing the permanence of basic human values.
