We are seeking a Lower School Learning Specialist who will work collaboratively with faculty in support of students, curriculum and professional development. The Lower School Learning Specialist serves as a member of the Student Support Team, helping to develop interventions and enrichment as well as keeping abreast of current educational best practices. The position requires a specialization in elementary-aged language arts and mathematics and incorporates full class, small group and one-on-one teaching. The Lower School Learning Specialist will be an educator who is creative and resourceful and recognizes the unique gifts and talents inherent in each child. Applicants must have:
Bachelor’s degree - Master’s preferred
LS teaching experience
Literacy/Math certification or specialization
Ability to differentiate learning
Strong communication skills
